- Endeplated vertebral column:The discs of the spine are located between individual vertebrae, which are stacked vertically one after the other along the spine. Vertebral end plates are specialized tissues that fit between each disc, connecting the two structures. They also spread nutrients to the discs, keeping them healthy and strong.
Conditions associated with degenerative disc disease
