- Physical examination to determine the type and location of pain, range of motion, nerve function, muscle sensation and strength, with a complete review of all symptoms

What to do if your application for degenerative disc disease is denied?
Most claims for Social Security disability benefits are denied the first time. With so many claims being filed every day, many of these claims do not have enough supporting documentation for the SSA to make a decision on the case.
A denial is not an end to the claim, but it does take you to the next steps in the process. If your disability claim is denied, you have 60 days to appeal the decision.
